Chris O'Donnell

Chris%20ODonnell%20Deschutes%20steelhead%20guide.jpgChris was born and raised in northwest Oregon, fishing Tillamook Bay tributaries with Dad since age four.  These early fishing trips spawned a lifelong passion for Chris, oriented towards trout and steelhead in the Pacific Northwest.  For ten months of the year Chris is guiding steelhead in Oregon with two handed rods.

Outside of fishing and guiding, Chris' interests include upland bird hunting and downhill skiing.  Chris is a member of both Beulah Fly Rods and Hatch Outdoors pro staffs, and has been guiding full time on the Lower Deschutes since 2003.  Chris resides in Maupin, Oregon May through December, and the Portland area January through April.
