During your stay on the Oregon coast you will enjoy accommodations at The Netarts Sand Castle. The Sand Castle is a three story beach house situated where Netarts Bay meets the Pacific Ocean. We have search far and wide for the best places to eat on the Oregon Coast. Two of them happen to be within spey casting distance (ok, maybe more like a mile and a half) form your lodigng on Netarts Bay.

The Sand Castle

The first floor consists of two car ports, an entry room, and an elevator that services all three levels. The second floor has three bedrooms (two suites, one with a private deck) that share two full bathrooms, equipped with jaccuzzi style tubs. The bedrooms have twin, queen, and king beds. Each bedroom has a flat screen TV. The third level is an open floor plan including the living room with gas fire place, dining room, and kitchen. The top floor has a deck with a gas grill. Two sofas that unfold into queen sized hide-a-beds and a full bathroom complete the third floor, allowing The Sand Castle to comfortably sleep up to ten guests. The second and third levels have wonderful ocean views.

Ocean Fresh Sea Food

Netarts and nearby Oceanside (2 miles) are only six miles from Tillamook, yet off the beaten path. One must venture from the popular Highway 101, and take 131 to get to Netarts. A little slice of paradise, Netarts Bay is a clean saltwater estuary that produces the highest quality oysters, clams, and dungeness crab in the lower 48.

Dining on the Oregon Coast

Two of the best seafood restaurants on the Oregon coast are in Netarts and Oceanside. The Schooner is a local favorite, located next to the docks on Netarts Bay. Their menu will please all, including fresh crab and shellfish, salmon and halibut, steaks, and wood fire oven pizzas. The Schooner also has a really cool bar. Our other favorite, and perhaps the finest seafood restaurant EVER, is Roseanna's Cafe in Oceanside. Roseanna's is famous for their expert chefs and elegant atmosphere. Watch the sun set over Three Arch Rocks as you browse the extensive wine list. Their menu includes wonderfully prepared fish and seafood, a variety of gourmet sauces, and several out of this world pasta dishes. Now this is the important part - save room for one of the best desserts you've ever had.
