Guided Deschutes River fishing trip rates & information
Our daily guiding rate for Deschutes trout is $475 for two anglers, $425 for one angler. This includes transport, any tackle required, a delicious riverside lunch, and flies, but does not include your fishing license, BLM boater pass, or waders.
You may conveniently purchase your fishing license online at Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.
Deschutes Boater Passes may be purchased online at Lower Deschutes Managing Agencies. We are happy to purchase boater passes on your behalf and the fee will be added to your balance.
Reservations are secured by a $100 per angler/day deposit - we accept all major credit cards.
Our cancellation policy: If your reservation is cancelled within 90 days of arrival there will be a charge of 25% of the total guiding rate - within 45 days there will be a charge of 100%. River Runner Outfitters is a small business and cancellations affect us greatly. We will endeavour to find a replacement angler for your reserved space and if successful we will refund your deposit. We highly recommend that you take out travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes to your travel plans.
geographic location
We are located in Maupin, Oregon, in the Lower Deschutes River canyon, about 90 miles north of Bend, and 100 miles Southeast of Portland.
Anglers typically fly into Portland (PDX) and drive to Maupin. We are happy to assist you with rental car arrangements from PDX, or shuttle services through Blue Star Transportation Group. Alternatively, there is a small airport in Redmond, Oregon.
Anglers traveling from Bend, Oregon will meet their guide in Madras (42 miles north of Bend).
